After my random ramblings I decided to actually do something fun. July is National Ice Cream Month and so we attempted to make homemade ice cream in ziploc baggies. I used this tutorial and last night we got to shaking. It took longer than the 15 mins and it melted really fast once they started to eat it, but the kids loved it.
I then decided to applique some shirts for Stryder and Shelby. They were so excited to wear them this morning and I was happy to cover stains and make these shirts wearable again.

Way fun ideas. It can be so hard to find something fun to do in this blasted heat!
